Being creative has always been a big part of my life. From drawing pictures at mass to going on and studying ceramics and expanding practice in Limerick school of art and design.

I grew up with two older brothers in a traditional, farming family house. I enjoyed the freedom of going through the fields and spending summers at the river. The change on the farm during seasons excites me and I never found myself bored. My mother and grandmothers devoted their time making sure the men were fed everyday three times a day. I always appreciated what the land had to offer and the work behind the scenes of meal times. In my final year project, I aim to incorporate the element of appreciation to the land and the hands who make it possible.
